Meet Your Consultant Hi I am Tunishia – Sisterlocks® Consultant in Indiana I specialize in Sisterlocks®, Microlocks, and traditional loc care ( not accepting traditional loc clients at this time) I became a Certified Sisterlocks Consultant December 2025 upon completing my training that began Nov 2024. I can be verified on the official Sisterlocks Consultant Registry under Indiana. I wore traditional locs from 2016 to 2023, which gave me a deep, personal connection to the loc journey. In 2024, I transitioned to Sisterlocks—a decision that transformed my hair and deepened my passion for helping other women embrace and love their natural crown. I began professional loc care in 2021, after completing a Master Loc Course covering starter locs, loc repair, the crochet method, ACV treatments, palm rolling, and more. I now work exclusively with natural hair (no extensions) and maintain a detailed log for every client to support healthy, beautiful results. Whether you’re starting your Sisterlocks or Microlocks journey or need ongoing maintenance, I’m here to provide expert care, transparency, and genuine support every step of the way. Consultations are required before booking any service. Located in Indiana | Now accepting new and limited transfer clients! Verify me on the Sisterlocks Registry Salon Policies & Procedures PLEASE READ!!! Consultation Policy: 1. Booking & Appointments • All appointments require a consultation for new and transfer clients. The consultation fee is $35 and is a separate fee from the service being provided. Unless getting sisterlocks. • Clients must call Tunishia directly at (463-336-2245) prior to booking any service. • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure appointments. The deposit will go toward the total service cost. This is seperate from consultation fee and is $150 for sisterlock establishments. 30.00 for transfer clients on microlock reties and traditional loc services. • Clients must arrive on time. A 15-minute grace period is allowed, but after that, a $25 late fee applies. If more than 30 minutes late, the appointment may be canceled, and the deposit forfeited. 2. Cancellations & Rescheduling • Clients must cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours in advance to transfer their deposit to a future appointment. • No-call, no-show appointments will result in the full service charge being applied before rebooking is allowed or no future bookings 3. Payment Policies • All services must be paid in full at the time of the appointment begins. • No refunds on completed services. If there is a concern, it must be addressed before leaving the salon. 4. Retightening & Maintenance • Clients should return for retightening every 4-8 weeks. Appointments scheduled past 8 weeks may result in additional charges due to extra work required. • Clients must arrive with clean, product-free hair for maintenance appointments unless opting for a wash service which is an additional 10 dollars 5. New Establishments • A consultation is required before booking a Sisterlocks establishment. • Establishments take two-three days and require clients to be on time for each sessions. • No oils, heavy creams, or conditioners should be used before the establishment. 6. Salon Etiquette & Guest Policy • No extra guests, including children, unless they are receiving a service. • Clients should arrive with their hair in its natural state—free of braids, styles, or excessive product buildup. 7. Health & Safety • If you are feeling unwell, please reschedule. • Clients with scalp conditions (such as severe dandruff, psoriasis, or infections) may be refused service until the condition is treated. • The salon space is kept clean and sanitized regularly. 8. Training & Professionalism • As a Sisterlocks® Consultant Tunishia provides services with professional care and attention. Any adjustments needed must be communicated during or immediately after the service. • Tunishia continues to develop her expertise and stays updated on best practices to provide quality service. 9. All new clients or those transferring from another loctician must schedule a consultation prior to any service being offered. This ensures we understand your goals and that our services align with your loc journey. All Consultation quotes regarding establishing locs are good for 90 days. Booking & Payment Policy: Full payment is required prior to the start of any establishment for sisterlocks the day service begins.. In order to secure your appointment a deposit of $150 is required to reserve your dates for establishment. Starter Locs on traditional locs also require full payment prior to any service beginning with a $75.00 deposit needed to secure your appointment date and time. All payments are final & non refundable. In order to maintain healthy Locs regular maintenance is required for that reason booking of your next appointment will need to be done at the end of each appointment. (no deposit required after 1st visit) IMPORTANT: Until your deposit is paid dates of service are not confirmed. Deposits are NON REFUNDABLE! NO WEAPONS Missing something? Still unsure?
